  • Our little corner of the web is a fair beginning.  But I urge you to read more and look at the research that has been done.  We have provided some recommendations on our Links and Books page to help get you started.
    
    
• Spread the word
  • It pains me that it took 4 1/2 years for us to discover the cause of Cameron's illness and find that there is treatment out there.  Mainstream medicine still believes that there is no known cause of Autism and no treatment or cure.  Most doctor's do not know how to properly test, diagnose and treat chronic heavy metal poisoning in children.  Many parents of children with Autism are unaware that their children may also be suffering from heavy metal poisoning and where to go for help.  Please spread the word and feel free to pass on our link to your friends and family.  We have also set up a "store" at Cafepress to purchase items with "Cam's Voice" on them to help spread the word and support Cameron's treatment.
    
    
• Contact your Representative
  • Please contact your local Representative to ask that they protect our children.  Currently, only six states have outlawed Thimerosal (mercury containing preservative) from vaccines.  Twenty more states have legislation proposed.  However, the federal government has recently passed legislation allowing doctors to ignore these state laws.  The federal government also continues to propose legislation to protect pharmaceutical companies from liability for mercury poisoning.  I fear that this trend may continue until enough children and grandchildren of legislators are personally affected by Thimerosal.  I pray that if enough people in the public make their voices heard that no more children will need to be needlessly harmed before the government and pharmaceutical companies admit their mistake and corrects it.
    
    
• Support Research and Treatment
  • Make a donation to autism research or treatment today.  More children currently have autism than AIDS, juvenile diabetes and childhood cancers combined.  However, Autism research and treatment is one of the least funded illnesses in our country.  The National Autism Association makes it easy for you to donate and designate where you want your money spent.  Log on today!
    
    
• Protect Your Own Children
  • If I had it to do all over again, knowing what I know now, I would vaccinate my children differently.  The National Vaccine Safety Center, Generation Rescue and the Autism Research Institute have some very good advice and suggested guidelines for vaccinating safely including:
    1.  Delay the first vaccine.  Opinions differ here ranging from one year to four years of age.  If we had it to do all over again, we would wait until age 4; when the child's brain blood barrier has been established.
    2.  Request Thimerosal free Vaccines.  Don't trust that the vaccine being given to your child is thimerosal free.  Request to see the vile and package insert for the vaccine being given to your child to make sure it does not contain Thimerosal or Mercury (HG).
    3.  Never administer a vaccine to a child who appears ill or was recently ill.
    4.  Give the child a dose of vitamin C at the time of vaccination.  A study in Australia showed that giving vitamin C with vaccinations reduced mortality by 100%!!!
    5.  Never give Acetaminophen or Ibuprofen to a child when they are vaccinated.  This causes an autoimmune response that lowers the child's own ability to properly process the vaccine which could lead the child not to create the appropriate antibodies and actually contract the illness being vaccinated for instead.  One example of this is recent findings by doctors of the Measles virus within the intestinal tract of kids with ASD.  
    6.  Have a blood test completed to test for present anti-bodies before administering a "booster" shot.  As long as the anti-bodies are still present then a booster is not needed yet and thus no reason to risk additional exposure to unsafe chemicals within vaccines.
